Maple Grove Sewer Repair Services
We use camera equipment to inspect a home’s drain, allowing us to identify various problems, from crumbling tile pipes to tree root incursions. We also have the tools to tackle many kinds of blockages and scaling, including hydrojetting. In many cases, we can non-invasively address the situation by relining the sewer pipe. While we prefer trenchless repair work, we are also equipped for traditional pipe repairs using excavation methods. Our goal is to provide the best solutions tailored to our customers’ needs, all with the least disruption possible. If a less drastic solution, such as sewer cleaning, is appropriate, we will let you know.
We can fix many broken pipes without digging up your yard by using trenchless sewer repair methods, such as pipe lining and pipe bursting. In pipe lining, we insert a resin-coated liner into the existing pipe, which hardens to create a new pipe within the old one. In pipe bursting, we replace the damaged pipe by breaking it apart and pulling in a new one in its place.
Homeowners need to know the signs that their house’s sewer system may require sewer cleaning or repair:
- Lingering sewage smells
- Gurgling drains
- Mold growth
- Slow draining
Your yard can also indicate potential problems. For example, a stretch of your yard might become noticeably greener in the summer because a cracked sewer line acts as a source of fertilizer. If you notice parts of your yard, sidewalk, or driveway sinking, that could signal a broken sewer drain. In extreme cases, water may pool in the yard. Some indicators of sewer issues may not be obvious. A damaged sewer system attracts bugs and rodents. You might see several drains clogging at nearly the same time in different parts of your house. Similarly, toilets struggle to flush if the sewer drain isn’t fully functional.
Some other common causes of sewer line damage include aging pipes, corrosion, shifting soil, tree root intrusion, and flushing non-degradable items. In Minnesota, seasonal freeze-thaw cycles strain underground piping systems. To help avoid sewer problems, avoid flushing wipes or grease down your drains, and schedule regular drain cleanings to prevent buildup.
